Elementary Schools in Hanover Township
Bee Meadow, Mountview Road, and Salem Drive Schools are the three elementary of Hanover Township. These schools are united under similar missions and attributes. Each features a skilled and dedicated staff, rich community pride and involvement, and a rigorous, engaging curriculum. In addition, neither school has a student-to-teacher ratio higher than 13.2:1, further positioning the staff to tap into their students’ potentials. Even with these similarities, the schools are defined by special distinctions. Bee Meadow, for example, features an education that values the growth of its students’ social skills. It includes guided lessons and small group discussions aimed at attaining that growth, and it’s not hard to learn why the school’s been awarded the prestigious National Blue Ribbon. Mountview Road School, fondly known as MTV, is also interested in the development of the “whole child.” As part of this goal, it’s committed to effectively integrating technology into classroom instruction, equipping them with Chromebooks, iPads, and document cameras. Also committed to students’ social and civic development, Salem Drive students participate in The Week of Respect, a district-wide program. Last October, students learned from lessons on bullying prevention, joined in songs about the value of respect, and practiced these values through cross-grade collaboration. Strong parochial and private special education schools are also located in the area, such as Our Lady of Mercy Academy and The Allegro School.
Hanover Township Middle Schools
After completing their elementary educations at one of these three tremendous schools, the next stop is Memorial Junior School! Serving sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students of the district, Memorial Junior School has a student-to-teacher ratio of 12.5:1. Here, your middle-school student will receive a great academic and social education. They’ll also further cultivate their gifts and interests at a school that’s uniquely capable of nurturing them; Memorial Junior School houses a state-of-the-art auditorium, music wing, science laboratories, and two gymnasiums, along with several other notable facilities.
